At its core, Fun with Miss Syd is a joyful learning space. Here we learn through play and the arts. We learn through laughter and games and stories. We learn knowing that positive teacher-student relationships are paramount. We learn knowing that learning should be something that kids WANT to do.

Sydney worked with our elementary-aged daughter to help her develop both competence and confident with her math. Our daughter had recently been diagnosed with progressive vision loss, and Sydney’s attentiveness during tutoring helped us figure out where her low vision was the main problem rather than the content itself. Most of all, Sydney made the whole thing joyful and built off our daughter’s interests and extracurricular activities to make their time together feel personal and something to look forward to!
